Robert has been an avid baseball fan since his days in Little League, even making the International League All-Star team in his local league. Promoting the joy of baseball has been a life long avocation. Robert was introduced to the Miracle League via Kiwanis International and through a member, Marv Jackson, who was one of the league’s trustees. After attending a few games to help support the organization and seeing the joy and fun being had by all who participated in the games, from coaches to players, Robert didn't hesitate to join the Miracle League Board of Directors when presented the opportunity.
